They are 3 types of this,one is when they are no enemies at all,but only treasure chests and rare chests BUT if you stay there for a let's say 30 seconds without moving on to the next floor,the boss The Reaper will appear.When they are MORE enemies than usual,most of them would probably be golden ones but again,The Reaper will show up after a period of time.Finnally,when they are LESS enemies then usual,it just means you're getting closer to the end of the block.

Combat advantages
In the field, you can opt to avoid enemies entirely by outrunning them, or you can try to hit them with your sword by pressing the X button.

Cursed Cards
Sometimes a card will have a blackened Skull & Crossbones shadow on it. If you pick this card, then the optional boss "The Reaper" will make an appearance on this floor and track you down. Get to the exit fast if you choose this card, as he's a Shadow you don't want to mess with.
Demonic Compendium tip
The Demonic Compendium becomes available to the player on May 10th. It is recommended that the player wait until this date (you start in April) to full realize the fusion system, as your fusions and old Personas will be saved
Easy cash
To make quick and good money, got through blocks in Tarteraus that the mobs run away from you. Then, go through the floors picking up the cases and chests you find. You won't get tired, as you aren't fighting any mobs. The only thing you will have to fear, are the Reaper, which you will be warned about.
Fusion Accidents
In accordance with time-honored Shin Megami Tensei tradition, sometimes things will go hilariously wrong when you try to fuse Personas together. The result is unpredictable, and will often result in a Persona that is nowhere near what you wanted.
Get the card you want
There are different patterns that the after-battle cards will be shuffled in. Knowing these shuffle patterns will help you get the card you want.
The Swap - A card will swap places with another card. At high speeds you should use the audio cue of the cards being swapped to assist in tracking the card's movement, as trying to track a fast flurry of cards on eyesight alone makes it more difficult to track the card.
The Pick-up - All 5 cards will be picked up and rearranged off-screen before being placed back down. To track the card you want, take a note of when the card was picked up. If it was the 3rd card picked up, then it will be the card that's 3rd from the left when it's put back down. The 2nd card to be picked up will be 2nd from left when placed down.
The Fold - A set number of cards will fold under a single card before spreading out again. To track the card you want, note which card it folded to and remember where it was in relation to that card when the fold took place. It'll be in that same position when the cards are spread out again.

Same-Arcana fusions
Fusing 2 Personas of the same Arcana results in a third Persona of the same Arcana. Unlike different Arcana fusions, though, Same Arcana fusion always results in a weaker Persona. The resulting demon will always be different than its parents, so this method may be useful to obtain weak personas that you may have missed early on and are needed for fusion.

The Demonic Compendium becomes available to the player on May 10th. It is recommended that the player wait until this date (you start in April) to full realize the fusion system, as your fusions and old Personas will be saved
Easy cash
To make quick and good money, got through blocks in Tarteraus that the mobs run away from you. Then, go through the floors picking up the cases and chests you find. You won't get tired, as you aren't fighting any mobs. The only thing you will have to fear, are the Reaper, which you will be warned about.
Fusion Accidents
In accordance with time-honored Shin Megami Tensei tradition, sometimes things will go hilariously wrong when you try to fuse Personas together. The result is unpredictable, and will often result in a Persona that is nowhere near what you wanted.
Get the card you want
There are different patterns that the after-battle cards will be shuffled in. Knowing these shuffle patterns will help you get the card you want.
The Swap - A card will swap places with another card. At high speeds you should use the audio cue of the cards being swapped to assist in tracking the card's movement, as trying to track a fast flurry of cards on eyesight alone makes it more difficult to track the card.
The Pick-up - All 5 cards will be picked up and rearranged off-screen before being placed back down. To track the card you want, take a note of when the card was picked up. If it was the 3rd card picked up, then it will be the card that's 3rd from the left when it's put back down. The 2nd card to be picked up will be 2nd from left when placed down.
The Fold - A set number of cards will fold under a single card before spreading out again. To track the card you want, note which card it folded to and remember where it was in relation to that card when the fold took place. It'll be in that same position when the cards are spread out again.

Same-Arcana fusions
Fusing 2 Personas of the same Arcana results in a third Persona of the same Arcana. Unlike different Arcana fusions, though, Same Arcana fusion always results in a weaker Persona. The resulting demon will always be different than its parents, so this method may be useful to obtain weak personas that you may have missed early on and are needed for fusion.

Heart Items
Certain Personas have a possibility of holding a an item within their heart. They will give you this item once they've learned all their skills. If they learn all their skills via the experience gained from an S.Link, then they will give you the item when they next level up in battle.

After beating the game once, you will be prompted to save your clear game data do so and load the data to start a new game but with your previous level, equipment, money, items, etc.
